Jules Emporium

2025

"Working with Ashen rose media was an absolute delight.

They took the time to understand our brand and the story we wanted to tell, then transformed that into content that genuinely connected with people.

Olivia had lots of ideas with regards to content creation and was able to create some fantastic videos and adverts for our products over the time they worked with us.

Couldn’t be happier! "

Jules Emporium is a gift shop, art gallery and venue in the heart of Brighton, stocking products from independent artists in Brighton and beyond! Their main goals with social media were to understand the direction they could take with their content, as well as making sure they portrayed themselves authentically.

Being a hub for Brighton creative and eccentrics, I created customer personas that focused on tapping into professional art buyers, gift-givers, small Brighton artists looking to exhibit their work and people looking for arty workshops. It was important to encapsulate the atmosphere of the shop. I created a moodboard which featured artists stocked by the shop, as well as similar elements that I felt captured the atmosphere. It was very satisfying to be told that I captured the essence of the shop’s style, which translated into content that set them apart from other gift shops in the area. The thread running through the content was to be happy expressing yourself in your own unique way, not following trends that don’t bring you joy.

Part of my job in creating posts that represented Jules Emporium came down to creating custom graphics that couldn’t be found elsewhere, such as the “this or that” and “pick your card” graphics. I stuck to a mainly purple and a yellow-gold colour palette, making sure to keep colours bold and bright. When creating video content, it was important to me that I included as much of the shop’s environment as possible, to immerse people in the world of Jules Emporium and make them want to visit themselves.
